She has spent summers training with Doug Varone and Dancers, Trisha Brown Dance, LA Contemporary Dance Company, and at the American Dance Festival. Professionally, Monica has worked on site-specific work, short films, black box performances, and evening length performances. While in California, she was involved in projects with Stephanie Nugent, Stephen Koplowitz, Genevieve Carson, Joe Alter, and Sarah Swenson. In New York City, she has had the pleasure of working on independent projects with Kensaku Shinohara, Shandoah Goldman, and Sarah Foster.
